The Program Coordinator\u00a0will make sure our 30+ teachers and 50+ school partners have everything they need so that our\u00a0students can design, code, create & troubleshoot LEGO\u00ae robots, video games, web pages and stop\u00a0motion animations!<\/p>\n The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability and eagerness to jump into new\u00a0situations and navigate them with integrity and success. If you are excited about\u00a0making an impact in a non-traditional STEM educational environment, this is the job for you!<\/p>\n RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n \u2022 Provide administrative support for our Program Managers who oversee 80+ off-site after school<\/p>\n \u2022 Provide our students and school partners with excellent customer service<\/p>\n \u2022 Teach and\/or substitute for our after school clubs across the 5 boroughs as needed<\/p>\n \u2022 Organize, prepare and keep track of all of our off-site instructional materials and equipment<\/p>\n \u2022 Transport our equipment to\/from 50+ schools in time for our clubs<\/p>\n \u2022 Install software for our programs at our partner schools<\/p>\n REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n \u2022 Bachelors Degree<\/p>\n \u2022 Experience working with children a plus, either in a traditional school environment or within\u00a0non-traditional teaching environments such as coaching or camp counseling<\/p>\n \u2022 Ability to problem solve and work independently<\/p>\n \u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills<\/p>\n \u2022 Outstanding project, planning and time management skills, including an extreme attention to\u00a0detail and ability to prioritize\/multi-task in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n \u2022 Excellent cooperation and negotiation skills and the ability to use them appropriately with\u00a0clients and staff<\/p>\n \u2022 A valid US driver\u2019s license is required (necessary for transporting equipment)<\/p>\n \u2022 Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (necessary for transporting equipment)<\/p>\n \u2022 Highly professional with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor<\/p>\n \u2022 Energy and enthusiasm about working with youth clubs<\/p>\n BENEFITS<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Receive a competitive salary & a benefits package.
