Since 2006, our talks have been watched more than a billion times worldwide. And we&#8217;re hiring! We&#8217;re looking for friendly, curious, detail-oriented problem-solvers to join our small, collaborative product team.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Support product development leads, experience designers, and engineers in detailed data acquisition and analysis, requirement gathering, and project management<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Perform various quality assurance and program management across mobile applications and emerging platforms<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Write, copy edit, and perform various editorial related tasks<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Coordinate with program managers of volunteer translators to help translate ideas and interfaces into different languages<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Research and evaluate tech trends and competition, and gather requirements for product development<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Strong writing and communication skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Strong technical background and ability to understand tech challenges and trends<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Able to execute tasks with minimal guidance, and work well with remote team members<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Passionate about TED&#8217;s content and mission, and about helping to support TED\u2019s leadership<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Experience with source control tools (GitHub, etc.), and bug reporting software<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Fluency with Google Calendar, Google Docs, Gmail, and Keynote<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Big plus: experience in mobile app development and\/or user experience design. More brownie points if you are bilingual.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ideal candidate should be the kind of person who can navigate the multi-device media world with ease &#8212; perhaps you download and check out apps for fun, or know the ins-and-outs of mobile-first design principles, or maybe even built a thing or two you can show us. We only hire extremely nice people who love to collaborate in a startup-like environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is a full-time (3 months), paid internship in the TED office in Manhattan.
