{"id":16835,"date":"2015-06-01T16:43:18","date_gmt":"2015-06-01T20:43:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/opportunities\/?p=16835"},"modified":"2015-06-01T16:43:18","modified_gmt":"2015-06-01T20:43:18","slug":"gig-multimedia-producer-firelight-mediafilms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/opportunities\/2015\/06\/01\/gig-multimedia-producer-firelight-mediafilms\/","title":{"rendered":"[GIG] Multimedia Producer, Firelight Media\/Films"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Firelight Media\/Films, renown for the documentary films: Murder of Emmett Till, Freedom\u00a0Riders, Freedom Summer, and the soon to be released film, The Black Panthers, The\u00a0Vanguard of the Revolution, seeks a Multimedia Producer to collaborate with our\u00a0documentary team in creating an\u00a0immersive\u00a0digital environment for \u201cTell Them We Are\u00a0Rising: The Story of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, a two hour documentary\u00a0slated for broadcast on PBS in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>We seek a Multimedia Producer who can harness her\/his expertise in interactive\u00a0technology, visual design and the development of engaging user experiences to\u00a0collaboratively create a rich documentary story-world on\u00a0Historically Black Colleges and\u00a0Universities\u00a0that unfolds on a variety of platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is to develop a transmedia\u00a0project that brings to life the visual, aural, and\u00a0archival elements of this expansive story.
