The\u00a0system is critical for the firm\u2019s operations and has a large user-base.\u00a0This is a tremendous opportunity for the right candidate to drive the ongoing development, and with success &#8211; to lead additional project responsibilities.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b><br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/b>The Java developer will be responsible for driving the continued development and implementation of the software platform, initially be responsible for supporting and\u00a0enhancing the existing legacy Java enterprise application.\u00a0Once the new hire becomes familiar with the existing environment, he\/she will start developing\u00a0prototypes\u00a0for the next generation components to extend platform architecture\u00a0for the new platform, both in Java and C#, solve complex business problems, and extend business functionality.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b><br \/>\nRequired Skills<br \/>\n<\/b>Hands-on developer with 5-10 years of experience in delivering enterprise-level systems.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">The right candidate will be highly motivated and a great communicator, who is\u00a0driven by creative, conceptual intelligence, and a continuing desire for self-improvement.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> \u2022 Minimum of 5 years of hands-on core Java and J2EE web application development experience.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> \u2022 Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and software development best practices.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> \u2022 Experience with the Java Enterprise stack (e.g. EJB, JPA, JSF) is required.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> \u2022 Minimum of three years of experience with Hibernate or other ORM technology.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> \u2022 Understanding of dependency injection frameworks.
