Students are exposed to all levels of the\u00a0company, which has proven to be an invaluable\u00a0experience to individuals interested in pursuing a career\u00a0in the entertainment industry. Embracing differences is\u00a0an integral part of our culture, and a key element of our\u00a0success is creating and maintaining an inclusive\u00a0environment.<\/p>\n<p>Candidate Eligibility<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Viacom&#8217;s Internships are paid at a standard competitive\u00a0hourly rate, so proper work authorization is needed to\u00a0be employed within the United States.<\/li>\n<li>Open to college juniors, seniors, masters students and\u00a0law students. Upon acceptance, we will require a letter\u00a0from your school confirming you are a matriculated\u00a0junior, senior, masters student or law student.<\/li>\n<li>Internships available: spring, summer and fall\u00a0semesters.<\/li>\n<li>Students must be available to work a minimum of two\u00a0full days per week; some areas may require additional\u00a0days.<\/li>\n<li>Requires a minimum of 10 weeks (no weekends).<\/li>\n<li>College credit is not required, but we will provide\u00a0appropriate documentation if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Application dates for resume submissions are rolling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See website for specific details.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few examples of Design Internships:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Nickelodeon Creative Resources team oversees\u00a0all of Nickelodeon&#8217;s consumer products. They help in\u00a0the creation of product, making sure that the overall\u00a0look and feel of each item is exciting, innovative, and on\u00a0strategy with the individual properties and\u00a0Nickelodeon&#8217;s business initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>The Comedy Central Brand Creative team is\u00a0responsible for creating graphics for all brand creative\u00a0print, multiplatform and video promotion. They design\u00a0both static and motion, from billboards to Facebook\u00a0content to assisting with promotional campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>The Viacom International Marketing team handles\u00a0property &amp; brand management for Nickelodeon across\u00a0lines of business and international brand and franchise\u00a0marketing strategies for brand and key programming.\u00a0They manage pro-social marketing as well as provide\u00a0channel, commercial, movie, and program sales\u00a0marketing support.<\/li>\n<li>The VH1 On-Air Graphics team creates on-air\u00a0elements for VH1 shows and productions including\u00a0opens, bumpers, bugs, transitions and production\u00a0frames.<\/li>\n<li>The MTV .Com Design team is responsible for the\u00a0ideation and design for all web\/app related assets. They\u00a0cover a wide range of projects from web design,\u00a0prototypes, UI\/UX and motion, working on product and\u00a0brand-level initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>The Catalyst Design team is Viacom\u2019s in-house\u00a0creative group. They operate like an agency and take\u00a0on projects including: logos, branding, invitations, event\u00a0graphics, eblasts, presentations, etc.<\/li>\n<li>The Spike Off-Air Creative team produces graphics\u00a0that promote programming and the brand. They work\u00a0closely with press, talent, sales, production on projects\u00a0ranging from print collateral, online banners, branded\u00a0premiums to animations for promos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Other departments available.
