Job\/Internship Description:
\nMidas+ Community Health Solutions, a Xerox company, is seeking a full
\ntime front-end Web Developer. The front-end Web Developer will work
\nclosely with a small but diverse web development team, and will take
\non a leadership role in producing an attractive, consistent, flexible
\nand user-focused design framework, while also performing regular web
\ndevelopment tasks in PHP. Our software-as-a-service requires intuitive
\nand compelling data interfaces that must serve very disparate
\ncontexts, from a handful of locations and data points to many
\nhundreds, if not thousands. We\u2019re looking for someone who enjoys
\nchallenging work, collaborative problem solving, sharing their
\nexpertise, and having some fun in the process!<\/p>\n
While formally part of Xerox, we are a small business unit
\nconveniently located in downtown Berkeley near the UC campus, BART and
\nother transit options. Some telecommuting is possible with this
\nposition but candidates are expected to live in the Bay Area within
\ncommute distance of Berkeley. Excellent benefits. Salary commensurate

Required Skills:
\nREQUIRED:
\nBachelors degree
\nMinimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
\nDemonstrable proficiency in PHP, SQL, and JavaScript
\nExpert-level knowledge of HTML and CSS
\nExperience with SASS\/Compass or similar CSS compilers
\nExperience with mobile \/ responsive design
\nExperience with jQuery or similar Javascript libraries
\nExcellent oral and written communication skills
\nExperience working in Linux\/Unix command line environments<\/p>\n
DESIRED:
\nExperience with Bootstrap CSS framework
\nProficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
\nExperience with cross-browser testing
\nFamiliarity with 508 compliance, accessibility
\nFamiliarity with PHP frameworks such as Zend, Symfony, etc.
\nExperience with Subversion (SVN) source control
\nInterest in community health<\/p>\n
