\/>\nSummary<\/p>\n<p>The NYU Shanghai Educational Technology Fellowship (ETF) is a 10-month<br \/>\nprofessional development opportunity for recent graduates.<\/p>\n<p>The ETF is intended for high-achieving graduates from a variety of<br \/>\ndisciplines with an interest in the intersection of teaching, learning<br \/>\nand technology.<\/p>\n<p>The ETF offers an opportunity to design, implement and evaluate<br \/>\ninnovative educational technology projects under close mentorship by<br \/>\nexperienced staff and faculty.<\/p>\n<p>The fellowship may be renewed for up to an additional 10 months, at<br \/>\nthe discretion of NYU Shanghai.<\/p>\n<p>Who is the ideal Educational Technology Fellow?<\/p>\n<p>ETFs have demonstrated advanced proficiency in one or more relevant<br \/>\ntechnologies, plus an enthusiasm for helping faculty and students use<br \/>\ntechnology effectively, and the ability to learn and apply new<br \/>\ntechnologies quickly.<\/p>\n<p>ETFs are able to discuss complex technology concepts both with<br \/>\ntechnology experts and novices.<\/p>\n<p>ETFs have a dedication to working with faculty and students, and<br \/>\npossess superior cross-cultural communication and collaboration<br \/>\nskills.<\/p>\n<p>ETFs are self-starting and self-motivated.<\/p>\n<p>What do Educational Technology Fellows do?<\/p>\n<p>ETFs apply their technology and communication skills to design,<br \/>\nimplement, evaluate, document and support technology-enhanced<br \/>\neducation projects.<\/p>\n<p>ETFs work on those projects in partnership with faculty, instructional<br \/>\ndesigners, technology specialists, administrative staff, and<br \/>\nstudents.<\/p>\n<p>Specific functional areas include, but are not limited to, course<br \/>\ncontent creation, video and audio production, interactive animation,<br \/>\nmapping and GIS, video and audio conferencing, script writing, online<br \/>\nteaching, student engagement, and web development.<\/p>\n<p>Implement faculty course designs using specified platforms and tools.<\/p>\n<p>Support course activity and student engagement over the course of the<br \/>\nproject arc from concept through delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Assist faculty in translating an existing classroom course for online<br \/>\ndelivery, or develop a new course in an online format.<\/p>\n<p>Assist in new online course development, or in the use of a new<br \/>\nclassroom technology.<\/p>\n<p>Develop technology enhancements (such as video modules or student<br \/>\nengagement opportunities) for an existing course.<\/p>\n<p>Required Skills:<br \/>\nRequired Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Fellows must be eligible for an appropriate visa and employment in<br \/>\naccordance with Chinese law.
