NEW LEBANON<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Living Museum of Contemporary Rural American Life<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Seeks a dynamic and well-rounded Marketing Manager<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Behold! New Lebanon (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beholdnewlebanon.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.beholdnewlebanon.org<\/a>) is a start up non-profit<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>dedicated to modeling a new way to revive small rural towns while pushing the<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>boundaries of the role of the museum in society. Unlike traditional museums,<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Behold! New Lebanon invites participants to experience and celebrate rural life in<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>rural time through real people. Behold! programs take place in the farms, fields,<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>workshops, studios, kitchens and stores of the diverse residents who call New<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lebanon \u2013in New York\u2019s historic Columbia County \u2013 home. Each intimate<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Behold! program invites participants to learn about community, commerce and<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>family life in rural America; truly an immersive, educational experience for people<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>of all ages to Behold.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>During its 2016 season (May-October) \u2013 its second year of operation &#8211; its staff will<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>consist of a President, Vice President, Executive Director, Program Director and<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>40 Rural Guides who will deliver over 60 programs to visitors.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>OVERVIEW:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Marketing Manager will be a key member of the Behold! staff, responsible for developing<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>and managing the Museum\u2019s email and paid and natural search campaigns. The Marketing<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Manager will also assist with social media, display advertising, mobile marketing, alternative<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>media, traditional advertising and other marketing initiatives.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>SPECIFIC DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Develop production schedules for marketing campaigns and collateral, including paid<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>advertising efforts across digital and traditional vehicles.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Develop and manage email marketing campaigns and programs, including image and<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>content production.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Develop and optimize paid search campaigns, using Google Adwords and related tools.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Perform basic analysis, using tools and platforms related to email, search and web<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>analytics. Outputs include reports to be shared with key constituents and<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>recommendations for testing and optimization.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Contribute to natural search efforts, including website development.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Produce or assist in production of marketing collateral and web content, using Adobe<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Creative Suite or similar tools.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Evaluate social media opportunities and develop plans as necessary.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 2 or more years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on digital marketing<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>preferred.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Experience with email marketing operations, platforms, and technology (including<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>HTML).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Experience with paid search (SEM) and Google AdWords, and natural search (SEO) and<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>web design (UI and UX).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Familiarity with traditional advertising, such as print, radio, etc.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel for quantitative analysis, and Word and<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>PowerPoint for communication.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Strong attention to detail.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities, and to do so independently.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Strategic and creative instinct (design and creative and\/or copywriting experience a plus)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Contact:<\/div>\n<div>Norman Rasmussen<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"mailto:nrasmussen@beholdnewlebanon.org\" target=\"_blank\">nrasmussen@beholdnewlebanon.<wbr \/>org<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BEHOLD!
