Position Description
The Interaction Designer conceptualizes and cre=
\nates rich user experiences and interface solutions for internets, intranets,=
\n extranets, portals and applications. They play an important role in the con=
\nception and execution of brand experience. <\/p>\n
The Interaction Designer at our company will work as a liaison between =
\nthe Research and the Development teams.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities

\n; Create and present effective interactive design solution=
\ns
• Follow a design brief and brand identity stand=
\nards<\/p>\n
• Excellent layout and typography skills

\nbsp; Estimate project effort required

\n; Work and report to a project plan\/timeline
• Man=
\nage integrating graphics into project construction and filing processes<\/p>\n
• Manage and record time on projects

\n Contribute to the navigational and instructional design of webs=
\nites
• Prepare and optimize graphics for use

\null; Organize and manage content flow

\n; Carry out production utilizing mainstream graphics, animation packag=
\nes<\/p>\n
• HTML editing

\ne features based on input from medical research, marketing, development, CEO=
\n and other team members
• Develop specifications a=
\nnd success criteria
• Coordinate with cross-discip=
\nlined team(s), including consultants and vendors, through the product cycle<\/p>\n
• Define end user scenarios

\nsp; Work to understand market and product requirements and turn them into fu=
\nnctional specifications from which product can be built

\n; Work closely with the development team to help define development ta=
\nsks and appropriate development sprints or milestones<\/p>\n
• Prioritize features, functionality and efforts dur=
\ning product development process
• Work with busine=
\nss requirements and development teams to design, specify, evolve, and launch=
\n products and supervise the product design\/development process in its entire=
\nty<\/p>\n
Qualifications
• Design degree or diploma is =
\npreferable
• Experience managing software developm=
\nent teams that build large-scale commercial products
• &n=
\nbsp; Demonstrated ability writing meticulous user requirement documents<\/p>\n
• Proven commercial experience in an interactive des=
\nign role
• Experience with InDesign, OmniGraffle, =
\nor similar software
• Deep understanding of techno=
\nlogies and platforms used to create compelling interactive experiences<\/p>\n
• HTML\/JavaScript, CSSP, Flash and other relevant te=
\nchnology skills
• Excellent portfolio
•&nb=
\nsp; Understanding of design for content management systems, usab=
\nility and accessibility practice and customer focus are essential<\/p>\n
• Extensive experience creating wireframes, user flo=
\nws and concept models<\/p>\n
