We create integrated experiences \u2013 physical spaces, interactive activities, collaboration tools, engagement programs \u2013 that help organizations build connections, activate audiences, and grow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a Senior Lab Tech to work as part of a large cross-disciplinary team supporting the development of innovative technical designs for public places. The ESI lab is used both as a design resource and a client-facing demonstration space requiring a lab manager that has a keen sense of organization and presentation.\u00a0The Senior Lab Tech will be based out of the ESI Lab and will be responsible for building and managing small and large scale proof-of-concepts and mockups, researching emerging technologies and keeping our internal technical resources updated. We are looking for a person that is flexible and can work with new technologies as well as find new applications for existing technologies.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining and organizing the ESI\u2019s Lab space and inventories<\/li>\n<li>Building, installing and running proof-of-concepts, mockups and play-testing in our LAB space and off-site<\/li>\n<li>Prototyping and testing of new technologies, applications and systems<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with internal team (designers, project\/production managers) to plan, execute and track all the mockup efforts and lab usage<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with consultants and technology producers to support and manage various mockup needs<\/li>\n<li>Updating the internal ESI technology resources and tools<\/li>\n<li>Work with designers, engineers, and customers to create technology solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of audio visual control systems, hardware and software<\/li>\n<li>Great handling and managing of AV hardware and systems<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized and self-driven, with the ability to manage time well and work efficiently without close supervision<\/li>\n<li>Careful attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with electrical schematics and systems design schematics<\/li>\n<li>Experience in creating digital\/physical experiences<\/li>\n<li>A degree specializing in interactive Technologies, Audio Visual Design, Entertainment Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you feel you are a strong candidate for this role, please email your resume to <a href=\"mailto:recruit@esidesign.com\">recruit@esidesign.com<\/a> Subject Heading: Senior Lab Tech<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For more information about our firm, please visit our website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esidesign.com\/\">www.esidesign.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior Lab Tech ESI Design is a pioneering innovation and experience design consultancy.
