In addition to the call for submissions announced previously,<br \/>\nthere is a new additional call for performances:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/functional-art.org\/2016\/performances.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer\">http:\/\/functional-art.org\/<wbr \/>2016\/performances.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The full text of the call follows below. I<br \/>\nhope you will submit something.<\/p>\n<p>Best,<\/p>\n<p>Renick<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>4th ACM SIGPLAN International Workshop on Functional Art, Music,<br \/>\nModelling and Design<\/p>\n<p>Call for Performances<\/p>\n<p>Nara, Japan, 24 September, 2016<\/p>\n<p>The ACM SIGPLAN International Workshop on Functional Art, Music,<br \/>\nModelling and Design (FARM) gathers together people who are harnessing<br \/>\nfunctional techniques in the pursuit of creativity and expression.<\/p>\n<p>FARM also hosts an evening of performances, which closes ICFP 2016.<br \/>\nFor that evening, FARM 2016 is seeking proposals for live performances<br \/>\n(audio, visual, or both) which employ functional programming<br \/>\ntechniques in whole or in part.<\/p>\n<p>Push forward the state of the art!<\/p>\n<p>We encourage both risk-taking proposals which push forward the state<br \/>\nof the art and refined presentations of highly-developed practice. In<br \/>\neither case, please support your submission with a clear description<br \/>\nof your performance including how your performance employs functional<br \/>\nprogramming and a discussion of influences and prior art as<br \/>\nappropriate.<\/p>\n<p>To propose a performance for the conference, please submit a a brief<br \/>\noutline\/programme note (100-150 words), a stable link to a single<br \/>\nvideo example, possibly a stable link to one additional audio example,<br \/>\nand a short biography (100-150 words for each contributor).<\/p>\n<p>Entertain!<\/p>\n<p>We are also accepting submissions for brief but exceptionally<br \/>\nentertaining performances, the standard of \u201centertaining\u201d being<br \/>\ncompletely up to the discretion of the program committee.<\/p>\n<p>Submission process<\/p>\n<p>Please include a complete technical description of what is needed from<br \/>\nthe organizers for your performance, including equipment, space<br \/>\nrequirements, and internet access.
