We seek a sharp and nimble Solder Tech to join our<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>team on a contract, P\/T basis as we design and develop the first real-time location<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>platform for groups \u2014 no phone, cell network, wifi or map required.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Timing:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Approximately 60 hours across the first 2 weeks of July 2016, with possibility of more work in later July<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>+ August, TBD.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Rate:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>$25 &#8211; $35\/hour<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Duties:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Solder surface mount components (fine-pitch QFN, DFN, 0201 passives etc.).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Perform visual inspection of PCB\u2019s to ensure internal standards of quality.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Reflow and rework 0201 and leadless components easily.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Other duties as assigned.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Requirements:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Experience soldering surface mount and through-hole components.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Experience inspecting surface mount components using a microscope.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Good working knowledge of ESD safety procedures.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials (BOM)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>and assembly drawings.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Component identification ability required.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Candidates should have the ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>How to Apply:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Send your resume and previous work samples (personal projects are welcomed for consideration) that<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>allow us to understand your capabilities and skill set to debra.keneally@awearableapparal.com ,<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>including, for each project:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Overview + description<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cb what you personally did<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cb how you did it<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cb why you did it<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Images<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u25cf Any supporting documentation you feel augments our understanding of your contributions<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>including schematics, requirements, etc.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JOB DESCRIPTION &#8211; FREELANCE -P\/T SOLDER TECH We love technology and creativity.
