The analyst will manually test software applications to<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>ensure compliance with design and software specifications. This person<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>will identify, analyze, and document defects in visual design, software<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>application functions, outputs and content, report findings effectively to<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>project team, and assist in issue resolution.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Expectations &amp; Responsibilities<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Motivated self-starter, and ability to work independently as well as in a<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>team environment.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Excellent attention to detail.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Candidate must be knowledgeable in Mac OSX, Windows Operating<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>System, Microsoft and\/or iWork Suite.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Experience working with bug tracking\/issue tracking software, like Trac,<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Trello, Bugzilla, DoneDone.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Strong working knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>software development life cycle.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication skills &#8211; written,<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>verbal, presentation.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Consistently available for pre-specified times during production phases,<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>approximately 10 hours per week.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Candidate must live in the NYC area.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Minimum of 3 years related experience, preferably in the digital design\/<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>creative industry.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Bachelors degree is preferred.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Contact Info<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Please send a brief cover letter, resume, and portfolio to<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>jobs@potiondesign.com<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Please no phone calls, faxes or postal mail.
