\nAssistant Producer, Creative<\/p>\n
Job\/Internship Description:
\nThe Assistant Producer will work closely with the creative director on
\nseveral aspects of the virtual reality creation process.\u00a0 From
\ncapturing and production to maintaining equipment, to photography
\nassignments, preproduction organization and retail inventory, the
\nAssistant Producer will be engaged in various aspects of the workflow.<\/p>\n
If an internship, what specifically will an ITP student learn?:
\nVirtual Reality Creation is an intensely multidisciplinary process,
\ninterweaving film production, cinematography, production design, 3d
\nprogramming, visual graphics and graphic design, and even game
\nprogramming all into one field.<\/p>\n
Students will learn how about the virtual reality creation process,
\nincluding how to use powerful software tools and hardware tools.\u00a0 They
\nwill be given tough assignments but will always have the guidance and
\nsupport of a studio professional on hand.<\/p>\n
Required Skills:
\nNo skills are required; just a positive attitude.\u00a0 But the following
\nare extremely helpful:<\/p>\n
Production Track Helpful Skills<\/p>\n
1)\u00a0 A good eye; knack for visual design and\/or production design
\n2)\u00a0 Photography experience and understanding and experience taking
\nstill photos and how to operate a still camera.\u00a0 Adeptness with
\ncameras and machines a plus
\n3)\u00a0 Good fashion sense, sense of narrative and scripting<\/p>\n
Postproduction Track\/Visual Design Helpful skills<\/p>\n
For programmers, visual graphics artists\/interns interested in being
\ntracked into postproduction, experience in any of the following
\nsoftware programs is a big plus: adobe photoshop, adobe illustrator,
\nadobe after effects, maya, 3ds max, unreal engine, unity, C++, C#,
\nscripting<\/p>\n

Compensation Package (if applicable):
\nThis is an unpaid internship possibly leading to a paid position.
\nThere is no compensation for the duration of the intership, but there
\nis a travel stipend and there are weekly cocktail mixers and a monthly
\nbbq for interns to socialize with people from other companies in the
\nNY area.<\/p>\n
Weekly Hourly Commitment:
\nMinimum 10-15 hours.\u00a0 M, T W\/TH<\/p>\n
