You should have an applicable understanding of physical computing combined with a knowledge of modern web and mobile development techniques based on best-practices.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The ideal candidate should be passionate about building out the creative technology offering for AnalogFolk US. How the offering evolves is on the candidate to roadmap and execute.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Core requirements<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Ideation \u2013 Working with clients and team members to challenge and develop ideas<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Prototyping \u2013 Building client-facing prototypes for digital and physical concepts<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Vetting \u2013 Determining high-level feasibility, tech requirements and architecture for concepts<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Communication \u2013 You will be presenting concepts and prototypes to clients<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Resourceful \u2013 Being able to get work done while being part of a very small team<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Networking \u2013 Fostering AnalogFolk\u2019s role in New York\u2019s creative technology community<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Skills and experience<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript for prototyping<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 JavaScript frameworks (Redux\/React, Backbone or Angular)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 CSS frameworks (Foundation or Bootstrap)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Hardware prototyping (Arduino)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Version control (Git)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Working with collaborative tools such as JIRA and Confluence<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Extended skills and experience<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Native mobile app development (Swift\/Objective-C for iOS or Java for Android)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Back-end development knowledge (PHP, Node.js)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Experience<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 At least 4 years of related experience<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Send portfolios to sam.joseph@analogfolk.com<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Creative Technologist NYC We are seeking a Creative Technologist to fill a full-time position at our offices in New York.
