The email they should forward their resumes\/cover letters to would be\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:job.iisdm@nyu.edu\" target=\"_blank\">job.iisdm@nyu.edu<\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Institute for the Interdisciplinary Study of Decision at NYU is seeking to fill a work study position (15-<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>20 hours\/week) with a student who can assist with the management and curation of our websites. The<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>ideal candidate will have none to some office administration experience and sufficient experience in<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>web design and coding. Some experience with graphic design is also preferred.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Key Duties and Job Responsibilities:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The position will work closely with IISDM\u2019s Communications Associate to ensure timely site updates and<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>have the ability to make minor and major site changes as needed. The successful candidate will also be<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>responsible for soliciting and coordinating web updates from members of the Institute and other senior<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Institute leadership. The successful candidate will preferably have graphic design skills to help create<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>graphics for the websites and other public dissemination materials, though this is not required.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Responsibilities Include:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Managing two websites, including content, appearance, and capabilities<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Making major structural changes to the website<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Serving as liaison for the Public Relations Officer for web-related internal and external inquiries<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Creating banners, images, and other graphical content (preferred)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Here are the requirements:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Required:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>-Experience with WordPress<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>-Familiarity with HMTL and CSS coding<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>-Experience with designing and managing websites (please provide URLs or mock-ups of sites you have<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>designed)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>-Familiarity with web preparation of media (e.g. optimizing images and video)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>-A student who is punctual, organized, proactive, and reliable with attention to detail.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Preferred:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>-Experience with graphic design and the creation of original graphical content like banners and other<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>signage<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>-Experience and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>-If you have graphical design skills, please submit at least two examples of your creation<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Please include your Fall and Spring hours of availability and please send sample of any website or<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>designs you have made, as simple as they may be.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please find attached an updated job description for the Webmaster Position here at NYU IISDM.
