Small software company is seeking a candidate to fill a Bilingual
\nProject Manager opening in San Francisco CA. The position entails
\nworking at a customer site as a member of a small energetic services
\norganization located overseas. As a bilingual speaking Product Manager
\n(Strong technical English and Spanish skills are a must have), you
\nwill create and deliver requirements to the remote engineering teams.
\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in the development
\nand management of software products and services. A strong background
\non web applications is a plus. The Product Manager must have a blend
\nof interpersonal skills and technical savvy and be comfortable working
\ndirectly with technical engineering teams. Ability to coordinate and
\nmaintain multiple projects at once is essential and excellent
\norganizational skills are a must for this position.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
– Manage projects using agile scrum development methodologies
\n– Drive the communication between development and customers
\n– Design, develop and deliver projects on time, with delighted
\ncustomers and a happy team
\n– Meet regularly with product and business owners to define project
\nspecifications
\n– Explain client specifications to remote teams in Spanish
\n– Develop project time estimates
\n– Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to
\nthe development team
\n– Manage multiple deliverables (software, kits, training materials,
\ndocumentation, etc) that come together to launch a new product
\n– Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to customers
\n– Help ensure project quality and performance standards<\/p>\n
Required:
\n– Authorized to work in the U.S.<\/p>\n
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
\n– 2+ years in role of project manager using a formal software
\ndevelopment methodology
\n– Experienced full project lifecycles from concept to delivery
\n– Direct managerial responsibility for 2+ individuals
\n– Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
\n– Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
\n– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n– Demonstrated leadership capacity in multi-disciplinary
