The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of current trends<br \/>\nin digital arts and emerging media, and must have an established art<br \/>\npractice and exhibition record. Preference will be given to<br \/>\nindividuals with evidence of interdisciplinary practice that links the<br \/>\nhumanities, science and technology, demonstrated teaching<br \/>\neffectiveness, University level teaching and experience with program<br \/>\nand curricular development in digital arts, and the ability to lead<br \/>\nrobust critique and theoretically informed discussion about<br \/>\ncontemporary art practice. Teaching Load: 2\/2, courses to be<br \/>\ndetermined, based on departmental needs; contribute to development of<br \/>\nexisting digital media courses; and implement new course content at<br \/>\nboth entry and advanced levels.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>The Art Department includes full undergraduate and graduate programs,<br \/>\nand encourages in-depth research and interdisciplinary learning across<br \/>\nother departments at the University. We are deeply committed to hands<br \/>\non experience in traditional media, as well as to the exploration of<br \/>\nnew and experimental modes of production.
