Data-driven, generative media experiences have taken root in several key markets including commercial and corporate development, hospitality and healthcare, retail, transportation hubs, civic and public art installations, and institutional settings.\u00a0 This progress will continue to grow as the future of walls and building materials become smarter and increasingly dynamic to keep pace with the needs of the inhabitants that use them.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We are currently seeking a part-time Media Architecture Intern who will examine the key quantifiable aspects of notable projects throughout the US and beyond.\u00a0 This will be accomplished by identifying the designers\/architects, clients, budgets and development timelines, manufacturers, and key technologies (both hardware and software) of these installations.\u00a0 We will also evaluate the effectiveness, design goals and integrity, visual quality, user experience, client or management opinions\/feedback, operational stability, and value proposition of each project.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Responsibilities:<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Online design research<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Qualitative &amp; quantitative analysis of goals and outcomes<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Making persuasive calls to designers, manufacturers, and real estate developers to generate the key information we will need to collect and compile<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Organize and process the information, review initial results with designers and managers across our multidisciplinary team, select key visual representations (photography or videography), and input into a searchable database<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Qualifications:<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Must have excellent communication (verbal\/written) skills<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Demonstrate a level of visual and technical acumen in the field of design with a focus on media architecture, exhibitions, systems technology and\/or architecture<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Highly organized with the ability to efficiently use time<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Careful attention to detail<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>The position is paid ($15\/hour) and we are seeking someone who can commit to 2-3 days per week.\u00a0 Initially it will be for the spring term, but it could run longer.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>To be considered, please e-mail your cover letter and resume with the position as the subject to: <a href=\"mailto:recruit@esidesign.com\" target=\"_blank\">recruit@esidesign.com<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thank you!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Please visit our website @\u00a0<u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.esidesign.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.esidesign.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1482530793381000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHLCJPvxLLEnex0PNDyrEZlGu8bCg\">http:\/\/www.esidesign.com<\/a><\/u><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Media Architecture Practice Intern (Paid) ESI Design is one of the world\u2019s foremost experience design firms.
