We seek a sharp and nimble Solder Tech to join our team on a contract, P\/T basis as we design and develop the first real-time location platform for groups \u2014 no phone, cell network, wifi or map required.<\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Timing:<br class=\"gmail-m_-1642951915990219252gmail-kix-line-break\" \/>Immediate<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Location:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">New Lab, located in the Brooklyn Navy yard.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Rate:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">$25 &#8211; $35\/hour<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Solder surface mount components (fine-pitch QFN, DFN, 0201 passives etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Perform visual inspection of PCB\u2019s to ensure internal standards of quality.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Reflow and rework 0201 and leadless components easily.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Experience soldering surface mount components, particularly 0201 passives and leadless (QFN, DFN, etc.) packages.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Experience inspecting surface mount components using a microscope.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Good working knowledge of ESD safety procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials (BOM) and assembly drawings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Component identification ability required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Candidates should have the ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">How to Apply:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Send your resume and previous work samples (personal projects are welcomed for consideration) that allow us to understand your capabilities and skill set to <a href=\"mailto:justin@lynqme.com\" target=\"_blank\">justin@lynqme.com<\/a> , including, for each project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Overview + description<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">what you personally did<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">how you did it<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">why you did it<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Images, specifically of your soldering work.
