  • Join a growing community of UX & Product Design practitioners dedicated to making buying toys and baby goods more than just a transaction but an exceptional and memorable experience that elevates the brand<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Help transform & optimize the Product Management practice within the Toys & Babies \u201cR\u201d Us organization<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team using agile design methodologies to deliver experiences across desktop, mobile and Apps<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What You\u2019ll Be Doing<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • <\/b>Develop Insights<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Inform design thinking by analyzing online and offline customer behavior, audit competitor and comparative offerings, support usability testing<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/b>Think & Inspire \u2013\u00a0<\/b>Help articulate a vision for meeting business and consumer needs and bring ideas to life using paper, whiteboards and digital tools<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/b>Collaborate<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Work with Marketing and Merchandising groups in conjunction with your team of Product Managers, UX Designers, Front-End and Back-end Developers to iteratively design solutions to business-critical challenges<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/b>Educate \u2013\u00a0<\/b>Make the organization and your peers smarter regarding design best practices, methodologies, tools and emerging trends<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      <\/div>\n

      Sr. User Experience Designer<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      We\u2019re Looking For Someone Who:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Has <\/b>experience designing desktop, mobile or web applications<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Is experienced designing complex or transactional interfaces (e.g. Retail, Finance)<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Understands content strategy concepts (e.g. information architectures, taxonomies, ontologies and facets) and how they impact user experience design<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Is an analytical thinker who is adept at expressing themselves visually<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Has the ability to prioritize and transform insights and requirements into simple, intuitive user flows and interfaces<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Is proficient in one or more digital sketching and prototyping tools (e.g. Axure)<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Is opinionated yet humble and receptive to what others have to say<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Is a natural storyteller with excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Work onsite in NYC but willing to traveling to our headquarters in Wayne, NJ on a limited basis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Sr. Product Designer<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

        We\u2019re Looking For Someone Who:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

        • Has <\/b>experience designing desktop, mobile or web applications<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Is experienced designing complex or transactional interfaces (e.g. Retail, Finance)<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Advocates for the user<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Up to date regarding the latest visual design tools<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Thinks in terms of design systems and makes rational design decisions<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Understands the roll that motion and animation play making user experiences more usable<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Has good taste and an eye for color, use of space, and typography<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Highly detailed and has an inherent talent for creating simple, clear solutions<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Is opinionated yet humble and receptive to what others have to say<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Work onsite in NYC but willing to traveling to our headquarters in Wayne, NJ on a limited basis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Mobile Development<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

          • Help build & optimize the mobile digital retail experience within the Toys & Babies \u201cR\u201d Us organization<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Work in a multi-disciplinary team using agile design methodologies to deliver native experiences for our customers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            What You\u2019ll Be Doing<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Build aspirational experiences that delight customers.<\/li>\n
            • <\/b>Build shopping cart, native checkout and user generated content\/social integration.<\/li>\n
            • <\/b>Create a modular checkout SDK that scales.<\/li>\n
            • <\/b>Build offline-first reactive mobile app with data sync and event handling capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

              Sr. iOS Developer<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

              We\u2019re Looking For Someone Who:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

                \n
              • Can work in a fast-moving Agile environment with focus on delighting the customer.<\/li>\n
              • <\/b>Works closely with Product and UX designers incorporating clean architecture that divides a mobile app into distinct layers of responsibility.
                \n<\/span><\/li>\n
              • <\/b>Preferably has experience in some of the following tools:\u00a0Swift, Rx Swift, Alamofire, Realm, Typhoon, SDWebImage, Kingfisher, CocoaLumberJack, FLEX, Fabric.IO<\/span><\/li>\n
              • Optionally, has knowledg<\/span>e of VIPER, Visual Recognition APIs, Amazon Alexa Skill Kit\/Google Home, Dash buttons or NLP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
