BioLite is seeking a well-rounded, hands-on and flexible engineer to join the Manufacturing team in<\/div>\n

bringing new products to life and ensuring the highest level of quality for in-line product<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
manufacture. In this multi-faceted role, you’ll wear several different hats as you support internal<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
teams including Product Development, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, helping us fulfill our<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
promise of bringing energy everywhere.<\/div>\n

TITLE: Quality Engineer<\/div>\n

KEY ACTIVITIES:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Performance validation testing\u2014Review and perform extensive product performance validation<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
testing of new products, during the product development phases and during transition from<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
development to manufacture.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Oversee quality containment and issue resolution\u2014Manage the identification, root cause<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
analysis, and resolution of quality issues as they arise at our warehouses and in the field.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 In-line quality audits\u2014Perform ongoing audits of all existing products based on a statistical<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
sampling plan, at BioLite headquarters and on-site at the factories in China and elsewhere.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Product requirements definition\u2014Work with the PD and Manufacturing teams to identify and<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
implement QA testing requirements for all products, including in-process and finished assembly<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
testing requirements.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Quality reporting\u2014Provide regular status reports outlining audit activities and findings. Identify,<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
escalate, and address high priority issues in collaboration with PD, Customer Services, Dealer<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Services, and manufacturing partners.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Quality systems development\u2014Work with Sr. Manufacturing Engingeering and Operations<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
team to develop and implement robust inline QC and maintain adequate ongoing quality<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
assurance documentation and testing. Build and integrate testing and inspection tools and<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
capabilities within the company and for our manufacturing partners.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Project Management\u2014Support, plan, and drive individual projects to meet milestones and<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
implementation deadlines. Coordinate product improvement efforts between BioLite and our<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
manufacturing partners.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 MfgE, ME or related technical four-year degree is required for this position<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Accountability, sense of humor, proactive nature and strong work ethic with a get-it-done attitude<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Capable in experimentation, testing, analysis, and research<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 High level of comfort working with internal technical teams including Mechanical Engineering and<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Electrical Engineering<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Electronics knowledge and experience in electronics manufacture a strong plus<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to communicate ideas clearly through<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
sketches\/email.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Extremely detail oriented and organized<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Working knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding, sheet metal, and die-casting<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 2+ years\u2019 experience in a relevant field working directly with hardgoods manufacture and testing<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Intermediate level Solidworks, ProE, or AutoDesk skills a plus<\/div>\n
