Position Description:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This position will be hands on, day to day involvement with globally distributed software development teams and NY local Product management; serving and bonding those two to ensure stable throughput, stress free environment and repeatable success.<\/p>\n Reporting to Agile Program Manager will ensure establishing of Center of excellence and building and delivering best practices of Agile software delivery and full transparency.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Scrum Master\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Position Description<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n – Doing everything possible to ensure customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n – Guiding the team and business on how to use Agile\/Scrum practices and values.<\/p>\n – Guiding the teams to self-organizing.<\/p>\n – Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and the business and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and business.<\/p>\n – Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.<\/p>\n – Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.<\/p>\n – Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.<\/p>\n – Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.<\/p>\n – Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information<\/p>\n – Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.<\/p>\n – Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example<\/p>\n <\/p>\n QULAIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Required<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n – Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.<\/p>\n – Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.<\/p>\n – Knowledge of numerous Agile patterns and techniques.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n – First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)<\/p>\n – Experience playing the Scrum Master role for two-three + years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.<\/p>\n – Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Lean<\/p>\n – Knowledge and\/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing.<\/p>\n – Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team.<\/p>\n – Excellent communication and mentoring skills.<\/p>\n
