We can seriously do with more women in the office. <\/p>\n<p>A Senior User Experience<br \/>\nDesigner creates excellent user experience design and deliverables for<br \/>\nMethod projects, according to user-centered design principles and<br \/>\nMethod standards. Independently, or working with a Director, as needed,<br \/>\na Senior UX Designer executes all user experience tasks, including<br \/>\nproject planning, research and analysis, requirements definition,<br \/>\nproduct and interaction concepts, and interaction specifications, on a<br \/>\nvariety of platforms, including the Web, mobile devices, television,<br \/>\nand product interfaces. On select projects, the Senior UX Designer will<br \/>\nbe the lead voice on a project for Method&#39;s UX approach, within the<br \/>\nproject team and in interactions with clients. <\/p>\n<p> Res=<br \/>\nponsibilities <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div> Working with UX Director to create appropr=<br \/>\niate project plans for the UX component of projects. <\/p>\n<p>Executing, and lead other UX designers in executing, quality<br \/>\ndeliverables for all aspects of UX work, including user research and<br \/>\nanalysis, requirements definition, conceptual design, content planning,<br \/>\ninteraction planning, interaction specification, and quality assurance.<br \/>\nCreating project deliverables that clearly and persuasively communicate<br \/>\nthe UX strategy and the reasoning behind it.   Creating user exper=<br \/>\niences that can be mapped directly to the business and user requirements of =<br \/>\nthe project.   Representing the user experience requirements of the=<br \/>\n project to other team members and to the client. <\/p>\n<p>Working collaboratively with project teams to develop user experience<br \/>\napproaches that take into account requirements and feedback of other<br \/>\nteam members. Also, providing appropriate feedback to team members to<br \/>\nensure that user experience requirements are met.   Constructive p=<br \/>\narticipation in UX team and studio workshops to develop and refine best prac=<br \/>\ntices and processes.<br \/>\nStaying abreast of industry best practices for UX design and processes,<br \/>\nand for any project, gathering sufficient information to support<br \/>\nappropriate UX design for the given platform and technology.   Tak=<br \/>\ning on any UX or other project tasks required by the studio, as directed by =<br \/>\nthe Director of UX.  <\/p>\n<p> Skills\/Qualifications\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> A portfolio of work showing 5+ years UX=<br \/>\n experience, including UX consulting, spanning multiple industry verticals. =<br \/>\n  An understanding of how to implement design thinking to influence=<br \/>\n business outcomes. <\/p>\n<p>Ability to plan, carry out, and analyze user research (ethnography,<br \/>\nworkshops, interviews, usability sessions, etc.) effectively to define<br \/>\nuser needs, attitudes, and expectations.   BA or MA in Interaction=<br \/>\n Design, Graphic Design, or HCI, or related experience.<br \/>\nEffective communication skills (both in conversation and in writing),<br \/>\nespecially focused on running workshops and presenting and defending UX<br \/>\ndesigns and decisions.   Ability to work with technology<br \/>\nexperts to uncover and understand technology requirements and<br \/>\ncapabilities as they relate to user experience.
