This position is part of a new initiative at Wesleyan in Design, Engineering, and Applied Science (\u00a0<span class=\"gmail-caps\">DEAS<\/span>). The primary focus of the position is teaching courses that provide students with practical design, engineering, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate should embrace a liberal arts approach that integrates traditional engineering with design, and be capable of teaching interdisciplinary engineering courses with hands-on projects at introductory and intermediate levels. In addition, there will be an opportunity to teach courses in the candidate&#8217;s specific area of specialization.
