I am contacting you from the Public Programs Department at the American Museum of Natural History. We are currently seeking a\u00a0GeoDome Facilitator<\/strong>, which is a paid, seasonal position at the museum starting April 9th<\/sup>\u00a0ending May 26th<\/sup>, 2017.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The GeoDome is an immersive, inflatable theater we install as part of our\u00a0Milstein Science Series<\/a>. The GeoDome facilitator will oversee the equipment\u2019s installation schedule, be responsible for set up and take down, and manage daily operations. S\/he will coordinate with all necessary staff, including Audio\/Visual, Movers, Electricians, and Visitor Services to ensure the GeoDome runs smoothly and according the schedule. S\/he will also troubleshoot day of issues, and provide excellent service to AMNH visitors.<\/p>\n

      The GeoDome:<\/p>\n

      The GeoDome is an inflatable, fully immersive theater about 25\u02b9 in diameter and 13\u02b9 tall.<\/p>\n

      The Public Programs Department installs the GeoDome in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life<\/p>\n

      as part of the annual Milstein Science Series. This year, footage will invite viewers to<\/p>\n

      partake in a day-in-the-life of a jellyfish.<\/p>\n

      Responsibilities & Duties:<\/p>\n

      The GeoDome facilitator will oversee the GeoDome\u2019s installation schedule, be<\/p>\n

      free and open to the public daily from 10AM-5:45PM, unless the Milstein Hall of Ocean<\/p>\n

      Life has an early closure. S\/he will coordinate with all necessary staff, including<\/p>\n

      Audio\/Visual, Movers, Electricians, and Visitor Services to ensure the GeoDome runs<\/p>\n

      smoothly and according the schedule. S\/he will also troubleshoot day of issues, and<\/p>\n

      provide excellent service to AMNH visitors.<\/p>\n
