Do you<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>enjoy testing the limits, guring things out and working with others to solve problems? Do advanced<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>manufacturing, emerging technologies and the Internet of Everything unleash your inner innovator?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We are looking for four highly creative, technology savvy people to join us in developing a series of<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>activated material swatches that will integrate the technical with the traditional &#8211; from conductive yarn to<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>nanotech textiles to to bio-sensors, our research fellows will work side-by-side to develop textiles that<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>improve lives.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The BF+DA \u201cTEK-TILES\u201d initiative is focused on developing responsible technology that improves health<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>and well being, safety in the workplace and enhanced environments by supporting projects and research<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>that will integrate useful technologies into fabrics and garments. Imagine a knit glove that can \u201ctalk\u201d to<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>your physical therapist remotely &#8211; allowing her to monitor your mobility in real time using augmented<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>reality, or a garment that keeps tracks of your stress levels or lets you know you if you\u2019re entering a<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>restricted area, or an acoustical panel that adapts to environmental conditions by changing the character<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>of sound in a room.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This is a great opportunity for recent grads, soon to be grads and current students who want a hands-on<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>design experience in wearable technology, textile development and apparel manufacturing.
