Geologic Time<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Program dates:<\/strong> September 11 \u2013 October 6, 2017<\/p>\n Application deadline:<\/strong> May 24, 2017<\/p>\n <\/p>\n How might thinking in geologic time affect our societal and cultural impetus for rapid innovation and acceleration? What could this framework bring to artistic and curatorial practice?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Independent Residency \u2013 September 2017<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Program dates:<\/strong> September 11 \u2013 October 20, 2017<\/p>\n Application deadline:<\/strong> May 24, 2017<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In this Independent Residency, be surrounded by a community of artistic peers, attend inspiring talks and performances by world-renowned visiting artists, and enjoy a spectacular mountain environment where you can engage or seek retreat.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Inherent Design<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Program dates:<\/strong> November 6 \u2013 December 8, 2017<\/p>\n Application deadline:<\/strong> July 5, 2017<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This program will explore Indigenous architecture, and the knowledge inherent in traditional design methodologies and materials. It is open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous participants.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Independent Residency \u2013 November 2017<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Program dates:<\/strong> November 6 \u2013 December 8, 2017<\/p>\n Application deadline:<\/strong> July 5, 2017<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A second set of dates for Independent Residencies at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Come an engage in our artistic community or seek retreat from the every day.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We are also offering a number of curatorial and studio practicum opportunities for emerging artists.
