Our Designers are integral to the creative process and play pivotal roles in the conception, design, and execution.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We are looking for a hands-on Design Intern to join our Creative team for a 10-week placement.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Preference will be given to people who demonstrate a combination of strategic, conceptual, design and craft skills.\u00a0 Successful interns will be considered for staff roles upon completion of placement, and pending resource availability.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Here\u2019s what you should know if you want to be a Design Intern at Louder:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
On any given day you might<\/b><\/div>\n
\u2022 Perform visual design research<\/div>\n
\u2022 Participate in the brainstorming and creation of concepts for visual design and advertising in web, video, and print.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Produce visual design for user interface designs, concept for a social campaign, or mock-ups brand identities.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Effectively articulate, communicate and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the visual design meets desired expectations in accordance with creative direction<\/div>\n
\u2022 Create pixel perfect designs that adhere to predefined brand and style guides<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The ideal person<\/b><\/div>\n
\u2022 Demonstrates proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch and Keynote<\/div>\n
\u2022 Has a strong portfolio with diverse, engaging designs that demonstrate attention to detail and a high level of craft<\/div>\n
\u2022 Is able to solve problems through design thinking, and basic understanding of the digital landscape<\/div>\n
\u2022 Is able to communicate visually through hand drawn sketching as well as rapidly prototype low-fi sketches<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Bonus points<\/b><\/div>\n
\u2022 Graphic design coursework and previous experience a plus<\/div>\n
\u2022 Knowledge of motion design and prototyping tools is a plus<\/div>\n
\u2022 An interest in emerging design trends and new technologies<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
