This is Uttam Grandhi (ITP ’15). I’m currently working on an interesting window display project for a renowned company, that has a bunch of mechanisms, blinking bulbs & neopixels. It would be running continuously for 2 months in New York City & Beverly Hills . So it could be a great portfolio piece for you\/someone you know!<\/p>\n

We are currently seeking one full-time\/part-time paid intern to assist the project in ME (50%) & EE (50%) for the months\u00a0August\u00a0<\/b>to\u00a0October<\/b>\u00a0at our office in Brooklyn.<\/div>\n

Its nice to have someone who has a great attention to detail and\u00a0at least<\/u><\/b>\u00a03 of the below skills.<\/div>\n
\n1. Good CAD skills [mechanisms\/ enclosures]<\/div>\n
2. Good physical assembly skills [Laser cut & 3D printed parts]<\/div>\n
3. Intermediate Arduino programming skills.<\/div>\n
4. Intermediate EE knowledge ( Sourcing parts\/ Designing simple circuits )<\/div>\n
5. Intermediate Skill in Soldering ( 90% through-hole\/ perf. board )<\/div>\n
\nPay:<\/div>\n
20$\/hour+ (Commensurate with experience)<\/div>\n

We are currently working on finalizing the prototypes and production would start very soon [ in next 2-3 weeks ]. Kindly share your resume\/portfolio to this email. Also, please note that the project requires commitment from start to the end and signing a confidentiality agreement.<\/div>\n
