ESI Design is seeking an experienced Freelance Web Developer to lead the front-end and back-end development on an exciting new project with a fast-paced timeline. Candidates must have extensive experience working with WordPress and developing advanced web-based animations.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Responsibilities<\/div>\n
\u2022 Develop front-end and back-end architecture for responsive websites and web-based digital signage<\/div>\n
\u2022 Develop advanced animations using SVG, Canvas, CSS, Javascript, and Javascript frameworks for internal review and feedback<\/div>\n
\u2022 Configure WordPress builds to support multiple user types<\/div>\n
\u2022 Create custom data feeds from WordPress to feed web-based digital signage applications<\/div>\n
\u2022 Develop HTML-based email campaigns using MailChimp<\/div>\n
\u2022 Develop dynamic forms with AJAX<\/div>\n
\u2022 Optimize responsive websites to be displayed across screen sizes and devices<\/div>\n
\u2022 Perform extensive testing on web applications for quality assurance<\/div>\n
\u2022 Integrate third-party APIs if necessary<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Qualifications<\/div>\n
\u2022 Master of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Javascript frameworks (including jQuery), PHP, and SQL<\/div>\n
\u2022 Expertise working with WordPress<\/div>\n
\u2022 A portfolio showcasing advanced animations and WordPress integration<\/div>\n
\u2022 Ability to create custom JSON feeds from WordPress or MySQL data schemas<\/div>\n
\u2022 Expertise creating pixel-perfect websites from Photoshop comps<\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience with Google Analytics or another tool that provides in-page click or interaction analytics<\/div>\n
\u2022 An effective communicator who successfully collaborates with team members<\/div>\n
\u2022 Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills<\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience working on tight deadlines in fast-paced environments<\/div>\n
\u2022 Extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, and quickly adaptable to changes<\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience with Git and remote deployment tools<\/div>\n
\u2022 Knowledge of digital signage is a plus<\/div>\n

The job is a freelance term with 5 days per week basis, and is based in New York City.<\/div>\n
