I am an assistant professor at\u00a0the University of Colorado, in the new\u00a0Department of Critical Media Practices<\/a>.\u00a0CU\u00a0offers a university-wide\u00a0<\/span>Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program<\/a>, which\u00a0is\u00a0a one-year research fellowship that<\/span>\u00a0may lead to a tenure-track appointment (it is likely but not\u00a0guaranteed to do so).\u00a0<\/span>We are\u00a0hoping to hire a postdoc\/faculty member through this program, and we are\u00a0enthusiastically soliciting applications.<\/span><\/p>\n Applicants should be focused on a teaching career,\u00a0have a terminal degree (i.e., MFA is okay), not already have a\u00a0tenure track position, and be actively creating meaningful media art through emergent technologies (visual, sonic, or otherwise) as well as thinking through making (i.e., critically informed work).\u00a0Women and\u00a0people of color are particularly encouraged to apply.\u00a0Applicants must be a U.S. citizens or permanent residents.<\/p>\n Here is a list of our department’s faculty members<\/a>; applicants will need to choose someone to work with from this list, with senior faculty preferred.
