Downtown\u00a0Game\/AI Project Needs Production Interns<\/b><\/p>\n

Kindly consider\u00a0joining our small team of experienced interactive\u00a0craftspeople who come from\u00a0places like Disney Imagineering and\u00a0Electronic Arts. We\u2019re in the middle of an\u00a0interactive narrative\u00a0project that employs AI in an entirely new way for a\u00a0terrific, resume-worthy client and we need some help!<\/p><\/div>\n

We\u00a0are looking for:<\/p>\n

PHOTOGRAPHY PROS (or people who just love taking photos)<\/b>
\nYou\u2019ll\u00a0be assigned missions in various neighborhoods around our fair\u00a0city and asked to\u00a0document their completion through a variety of\u00a0recording methods, including\u00a0audio, video, and photographs.\u00a0Basically, you\u2019ll be stepping into the shoes of\u00a0one of our characters\u00a0and creating artifacts which we will turn into \u2026 well,\u00a0you\u2019ll have to\u00a0come and see for yourself.<\/p>\n

GRAPHIC WIZARDS<\/b>
\nWe\u00a0need some help designing UIs, characters, and artifacts from our\u00a0stories.\u00a0Especially exciting are the kind of Photoshop skills that\u00a0enable you to forge\u00a0what appear to be government documents or\u00a0newspaper articles. No, we are not\u00a0doing anything illegal, but if\u00a0you\u2019re good enough to do illegal things, we want\u00a0you.<\/p>\n

TECHNICAL TITANS<\/b>
\nWe\u2019re\u00a0creating AIs, but like many good parents, we too easily ignore\u00a0the weaknesses\u00a0of our progeny. Come and be cruel to our children.\u00a0Test our technology so we\u00a0can make it better and, if you\u2019re\u00a0interested, learn to write for interactive AI\u00a0characters so you can\u00a0stay on top of the coming robot uprising.<\/p>\n

PRETERNATURAL PRODUCTION & POST<\/b>
\nIf\u00a0you have any interest in video production, on-the-fly\u00a0cinematography, editing,\u00a0motion graphics, or just want to spend\u00a0some time exploring New York in a fresh\u00a0way, give us a shout. We\u00a0are looking for a range of production talents \u2026 and if\u00a0you\u2019re a selfie-enthusiast, we might even find a place for you on camera!<\/p>\n

ABOUT US<\/b>
\nWe\u00a0are in Chinatown, near a very pleasant park. We have an open\u00a0office in a\u00a0building with a creepy elevator. If you sit in our office, you\u00a0will probably be\u00a0on a couch, from which you will see trees. It will be\u00a0warm in the summer and\u00a0cool in the winter. You should have your\u00a0own laptop. We are mostly Mac people,\u00a0but don’t really care\u00a0provided you have most of the tools you need to be\u00a0productive.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0would like to start someone as soon as that person is ready. If\u00a0you’re awesome,\u00a0you can stay as long as you like. We’ve had good\u00a0experiences with interns in\u00a0the past. We are cool but not super cool\u00a0with what time you get in and try to\u00a0be pretty reasonable in general.<\/p>\n

If\u00a0any of this sounds interesting, send us salient details about\u00a0yourself and your\u00a0availability. We are open to PT or FT help and\u00a0while we can\u2019t offer much in the\u00a0way of financial remuneration at\u00a0the moment (happy to discuss), we will cover expenses, bolster\u00a0resum\u00e9s,\u00a0and write\u00a0incredible letters of recommendation. If all goes well, we are\u00a0excited\u00a0to form longer-term relationships.<\/p>\n

One\u00a0thing: you won’t be able to tell anyone what you’re doing\u00a0for a little while. You’ll\u00a0understand when you see it.\u00a0No worries re: resume, etc. when the\u00a0time comes. Thanks.<\/p>\n
