This job will provide lots of practical experience in the<\/div>\n<div>application design and development lifecycle.<\/div>\n<div>Job Responsibilities may include:<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction<\/div>\n<div>and design ideas<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards<\/div>\n<div>Relevant Skills:<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management skills are important for this position.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies<\/div>\n<div>Tools and Technologies used in OTSS:<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Design tools: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Axure RP, Sketch, InVision, and related platforms.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Technologies: C# and ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, Swift, React, Redux, and Python.<\/div>\n<div>Applicant should be familiar with the design tools or be willing to learn them on the job.<\/div>\n<div>Position Details:<\/div>\n<div>This is a year round, paid position and not an internship.<\/div>\n<div>The Hourly rate is $20\/hour. During the semester the candidate is expected to work 15-20 hours a week, based on their<\/div>\n<div>class schedule, and 20-35 hours during extended breaks including summer.
