Founded by the<\/div>\n<div>New Museum in 2014 and now in its fourth year of operations, NEW INC offers a<\/div>\n<div>shared workspace and professional development program designed to support an<\/div>\n<div>interdisciplinary community of 100 creatives as they investigate new ideas and develop<\/div>\n<div>sustainable business models.<\/div>\n<div>The Program Coordinator is a vital administrative and production role on NEW INC\u2019s<\/div>\n<div>small but mighty team. The position will report to NEW INC\u2019s Head of Operations and<\/div>\n<div>Production, and be responsible for supporting key logistics, scheduling, office<\/div>\n<div>administration and production tasks associated with running a productive 8,000 sq. ft.<\/div>\n<div>co-working facility and administering a robust professional development program. The<\/div>\n<div>position requires a candidate with meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail,<\/div>\n<div>excellent problem-solving skills, an efficient and systems-oriented work style, and great<\/div>\n<div>customer service.<\/div>\n<div>The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter able to juggle several projects and<\/div>\n<div>tasks simultaneously. A skilled project manager who can deftly balance a budget,<\/div>\n<div>organize a spreadsheet, plan and execute a production schedule, and work<\/div>\n<div>collaboratively with team members. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter<\/div>\n<div>who can identify and make recommendations for improvement and innovation, eager to<\/div>\n<div>learn and quick to pick up new skills, and is generally knowledgeable in standard office<\/div>\n<div>administrative software and tools.<\/div>\n<div>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Supports the Tech &amp; Facilities Manager and Head of Operations on executing all<\/div>\n<div>daily space operations including cleanliness, repairs, mail, security accessibility,<\/div>\n<div>and IT, working with relevant departments to address any larger adjustments or<\/div>\n<div>concerns on a rolling basis. This includes but is not limited to: wifi and<\/div>\n<div>accessibility, hardware, maintenance, replenishment of supplies, and space<\/div>\n<div>additions.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Assists the Head of Operations and Program Manager in coordination and<\/div>\n<div>production of all internal and external NEW INC events.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Connects with external vendors to source production materials, catering, rentals<\/div>\n<div>and services for a wide range of events both at NEW INC and the New Museum.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Orders and monitors the monthly usage of office supplies, catering, consumables<\/div>\n<div>and other materials for the office.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Works with the Head of Operations and Incubator Director to implement and<\/div>\n<div>manage software solutions, technical tools, systems and processes for the<\/div>\n<div>efficient operations of NEW INC.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Assists the NEW INC team with scheduling, including but not limited to:<\/div>\n<div>managing the Director\u2019s calendar, coordinating workshop facilitators, Mentors,<\/div>\n<div>and member-organized events.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Keeps track of invoices and expenses, processing receipts and expense reports.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Assists the Head of Operations with staff and member security requests and<\/div>\n<div>accessibility protocols.<\/div>\n<div>REQUIREMENTS<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 At minimum must hold a Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent work experience in a<\/div>\n<div>related industry.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 1-3 years professional experience as an executive assistant, office manager,<\/div>\n<div>project manager, administrator or events producer is strongly preferred.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project Management tools, and Adobe Creative<\/div>\n<div>Suite is strongly desired.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Must have a passion for detail and a commitment to high standards of execution<\/div>\n<div>while meeting deadlines and juggling several tasks simultaneously.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Excellent verbal and written and communication skills.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Strong time management and project management skills.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Resilient, hands-on and pro-active.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Results oriented, able to understand business requirements and provide<\/div>\n<div>solutions under budgetary constraints.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Effective in data-based decision-making and skilled in translating decisions into<\/div>\n<div>action-oriented and consistent implementation steps.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Self-motivated, able to work independently, manage time and hit deadlines with<\/div>\n<div>calmness under pressure.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Nimble, comfortable and excited to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented<\/div>\n<div>organizational setting.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Strong interpersonal skills are paramount, as well as a customer service<\/div>\n<div>mentality oriented towards helping our community members in a timely and<\/div>\n<div>friendly manner.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 An interest or background in arts, design, technology or entrepreneurship is a<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>plus.<\/div>\n<div>There are many exciting benefits to working at the New Museum, one of the most<\/div>\n<div>cutting-edge contemporary art institutions in the world.
