CultureHub\/ITP Micro-residency<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
CultureHub, an incubator for art & technology, is partnering with us to offer a residency for a selected ITP student or student team. The CultureHub Micro-Residency is a week-long program in which selected artists\/teams are given access to CultureHub\u2019s studio equipped with a theatrical grid, lighting system, A\/V hardware, and media production software. Each artist or team will receive a $1000 budget, dedicated studio space, and technical assistance from the CultureHub team.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We are looking for artists with a particular focus and interest in combining new technologies with storytelling. For example, submissions may include but are not limited to:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u25cf Projects exploring new forms of Digital Storytelling (i.e. VR, 360 Video, AR, Live Web, Networked Performance)<\/div>\n
\u25cf Projects exploring networked devices or spaces in a performative or immersive context.<\/div>\n
\u25cf Projects that develop cross platform, multi-location, or web-based experiences.<\/div>\n
\u25cf Projects that propose narratives\/structures that connect our studios in LA, NY, Seoul, and Italy.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We are looking for creative teams or individual artists that merge both story and technology. The selected artists may but are not required to present their work-in- progress at the end of the residency.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Please provide us with the information below and submit your application to\u00a0residency@culturehub.org<\/a>\u00a0by January 19th.<\/div>\n

The application should be saved as a PDF file as<\/div>\n
FirstLast_Residency.pdf (ex.SungYeena_Residency.pdf). Once we review the full application, you may be asked to come in for an interview.<\/div>\n

Application should include the following:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1. Bio\/Artist Statement: Tell us about you and your work. If applying as a team, please include bios for all key collaborators.<\/div>\n
2. Project Proposal: A detailed description of your project and what you plan for the residency. Please include how you and your work would benefit from working with CultureHub. (no more than 500 words)<\/div>\n
3. Up-to- date Resume or CV.<\/div>\n
4. Work Samples: Please include links to digital work samples and past works relevant to your proposed project.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
