We are looking for 1-2 Flex developers (preferably 1 senior and 1 mid)
\nwith the following pre-requisites:<\/p>\n
We are looking for strong Flex developers to build out our
\nmultimedia\/video platform to help transform how we deliver information
\nover a new medium. The Flex application will need to adhere to the
\ndetailed specifications outlined by our creative agency including data
\nrepresentation, effects, user experience, Flash Player integration and
\nall additional technical specifications of the application.
\nExperience in understanding how a service driven Flex application
\nintegrated with Flash video components for both an On-demand and Live
\nstreaming user experience needs to be built.<\/p>\n
Required skills:<\/p>\n
– Strong background in building data driven, rich internet
\napplications using Flex 3.0, Actionscript 3.0 and Flash 8 through
\nwebservices
\n – Experience building flash video players with Flash Media Servers
\n(live and on-demand) through a CDN using RTMP and HTTP progressive (H.
\n264 with Flash 9 a plus)
\n – Interfacing Flex and Flash applications with Flash Remoting (AMF
\ngateways)
\n – Experience with REST and SOAP webservices
\n – Core competency in XML, JSON, AJAX, Javascript
\n – Ability to build applications according to detailed specification
\nand design documents
\n – Building, documenting and supporting unit testing and test cases
\nfor moving applications from development to QA
\n – Competency in Apache, Tomcat, Java\/J2EE and JSP technologies<\/p>\n
