creative and intellectual work in architecture and urbani=
\nsm – is seeking applicants for a fall<\/font><\/div>\n
internship.<\/div>\n
Interns work closely with Omnibus staff in a collaborative wor=
\nk environment and perform<\/font><\/div>\n
a wide variety of tasks. Candid=
\nates should have an interest in design, architecture, and<\/font><\/div>\n
urbanism, and must have strong communication, organization, and writing ski=
\nlls.<\/font><\/div>\n
Time will be split between preparing material for on=
\nline publication, researching<\/font><\/div>\n
information for future feat=
\nures, and helping with administrative tasks. Opportunities will<\/font><\/div>\n

exist for the intern to develop his\/her own feature in collaboration =
\nwith editors. Strength in<\/font><\/div>\n
graphic design, mapping, Flash,=
\n ActionScripting, Java, or a familiarity with and ability to<\/font><\/div>\n

Urban Omnibus is =
\na project of the Architectural League that explores, through multimedia<\/div>\n
features and online commentary, the relationship between desi=
\ngn of all disciplines and the<\/font><\/div>\n
built environment of New Yo=
\nrk. The point is to bring together and connect conversations<\/font><\/div>\n

that are otherwise segregated into the various silos of interest within =
\nand surrounding<\/font><\/div>\n

design and urbanism. Our goal is to incre=
\nase understanding of the city we have and<\/font><\/div>\n
encourage ideas=
\n that can lead to a more inclusive, more sustainable, more beautiful city<\/div>\n
that could be. We post a new feature weekly, with posts to =
\nour forum throughout the<\/font><\/div>\n
week.<\/font><\/div>\n

\n an unpaid internship, though we are open to discussing independent study or=
