\nthe world works, but that it was untapped because the data is highly
\nfragmented and disconnected. Enigma set out to change that by building
\nand organizing one of the largest collections of public data in the
\nworld, and our big coming out party was winning TechCrunch Disrupts
\nBattlefield in 2013. Our vision has remained steadfast, we want to
\nempower people to interpret, and improve, the world around them.
\nHowever, we have expanded our ability to realize this vision by
\ncombining our massive public data repository with an ecosystem of
\nsoftware and tools designed to link, resolve, enhance and apply data
\nto help global-scale companies take on some of their hardest problems,
\nranging from preventing money laundering to ensuring patient safety.<\/p>\n

\ncompanies and organizations. We are looking for a highly skilled
\ndesigner in fundamental visual and interaction design principles for
\nour ecosystem of data products. You\u2019ll rely on user-centered design
\nprinciples to produce high-quality visuals \u2014 from concept to
\nexecution \u2014 across many of our products. Like all of our UX\/UI jobs,
\nyou\u2019ll collaborate with your fellow designers to constantly refine
\nthe Enigma design language and create innovative,
\nsophisticated-looking products that clients love to use. In a Product
\nDesigner role, you\u2019ll take on complex tasks and transform them into
\nintuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs for clients around the
\nworld\u2014from the first-time user to the sophisticated expert.<\/p>\n
\nUI components common to multiple applications. The intent is to enable
\na more familiar cross-application experience for our clients and
\ndefine modern solutions that can adapt to modular systems and
\ninteraction models. We are seeking a holistic designer who can
\nidentify businesses and their users’ needs, determine possible
\nsolutions, gather feedback from multiple sources and ultimately
\nprovide detailed implementation direction.<\/p>\n
\nstakeholders is a key to success in this position. Enigma\u2019s in-house
\nteam that works directly with executives, product managers, and
\nengineers to bring great products to life.<\/p>\n
\n-You have held a product design role for at least 5+ years at a
\nsoftware company, and additional 7+ UI and UX experience.
\n-An understanding of what makes an experience good or bad is critical.
\nYou can think through user problems, find reasonable solutions, mock
\nthem up in detail, and work with product team to rapidly validate
\nthem.
\n-Willing to define and navigate ambiguity and look for opportunities
\nto solve problems in unusual and innovative ways.
\n-We love making things beautiful and hope you feel the same. You have
\na deep understanding of composition, balance, symmetry, and whitespace
\nand you have a highly refined aesthetic sense and can both work within
\nand expand the Enigma style.
\n-Strong knowledge of UX principles and best practices, including
\nunderstanding when and where user testing and research should be
\nincorporated into the product design process.
\n-You understand the technical limitations and liberties behind your
\ndecisions and have enough knowledge and communicate your ideas to
\nengineers.
\n-Support development teams throughout the implementation cycle.
\n-Experience with rapid digital prototyping methods and processes and
\ndesign thinking methodologies.
\n-Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a
\nrapid iterative design process, and effectively produce multiple
\nhighly polished and professional finished works under a tight
\ntimeline, deep believe in inclusive and co-creation processes.
\n-Passion about the potential of data products to solve important
\nproblems in both the public and private sectors.
\n-Experience designing for B2B, SaaS or BI tools a plus.
\n-An inherent generosity, strong intellectual curiosity, and hustle.
\n-Well versed in infographic design and data visualizations.<\/p>\n<\/h3>\n
