\nAssociate Curator of Woody Plants evaluates, develops, promotes, and
\nfacilitates the stewardship of the hardy tree and shrub collections of
\nThe New York Botanical Garden.=A0 <\/span>He\/She assists
\nwith the preparation of selected publications, profiles and printed
\nmaterial regarding the woody plant collections.=A0 <\/span>=
\nWorks
\nclosely with the Director of Arboretum and Grounds and the Integrated
\nPest Management Manager to develop and implement best management
\npractices for the care of the woody plant collections. Works closely
\nwith Plant Records and Institutional Mapping staff to provide
\ninventories, assessments, and profiles of the woody plant collections.
\nGives tours and makes presentations. Prepares and gives plant walks for
\nstudents in the School of Professional Horticulture.
\nAssists Horticulture staff in the planning and execution of all aspects
\nof major exhibitions, including creating interpretation and giving
\nspecial tours.=A0 <\/span>Works closely with Capital Projec=
\nts and Operations staff to facilitate construction, repair, and project work=
\n.=A0 <\/span>Works
\nclosely with all Garden departments to facilitate, coordinate, and
\nimplement work for Garden Events, Public Services activities and
\nEducational Services Participates in institutional planning efforts and
