Hello techie friends of Mouse!<\/div>\n

I hope you are well! I am writing to let you know that Mouse is currently seeking some new tech mentors to work with Design League – both in Manhattan and in the Bronx!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This is later then we usually hire tech mentors – this year we decided to try hiring people after the students have come up with their ideas and find mentors with skills matched to each project.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Design League<\/a>\u00a0program is seeking talented designers, tinkerers, and makers with a combination of physical computing, fabrication, UX, mechanical engineering, programming, and creative design skills and an interest in sharing those skills with NYC young people to become\u00a0Technology<\/span>\u00a0Mentors<\/span>\u00a0for our programs in Manhattan and the Bronx.<\/p>\n

This person will join a small team of 4-7 high school design students working alongside volunteers with disabilities from Adapt Community Network to identify, design and prototype new assistive\/adaptive\u00a0technology<\/span>\u00a0projects.<\/p>\n

This position begins in March and ends in May and is contractual. 0-4 hours\/week.\u00a0Mentors<\/span><\/span>\u00a0must be available either Tuesdays and\/or Thursdays from\u00a04pm-6pm<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and pays\u00a0$35\/hour.<\/div>\n
