As an engineer at BioLite you\u2019ll solve challenging and interesting problems, work with an exceptional team, take ideas from concept through to large-scale production, and make a real positive impact on things that matter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Activities<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Lead Product Development Programs\u2014Strategize, plan and drive individual<br \/>\nproduct development programs to meet milestones and market launch timelines.<br \/>\nMentor interns and entry level engineers.<br \/>\n\u2022 Product Engineering\u2014Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical design and<br \/>\ndetailing for a range of clean-energy products across cooking, charging and lighting<br \/>\ntechnologies. Collaborate with industrial design, EE, R&amp;D, manufacturing and<br \/>\nmarketing teams.<br \/>\n\u2022 Design for Manufacturing (DFM)\u2013 Execute and deliver production-ready 3D CAD<br \/>\nfiles and Bills of Materials, including components material specifications, tolerances,<br \/>\nand finishes. Travel to and liaise with prototype vendors and manufacturing partners.<br \/>\n\u2022 Skill Building and Facilities\u2014Build and integrate mechanical and prototyping<br \/>\ncapabilities within the company. Procure, maintain, and evolve computer, shop, and<br \/>\nlab equipment.
