network\/servers, website, computers, databases, phon=
\ne system, and
audio\/visual equipment, whi=
\nle also providing technical support to artists
and staff.<\/p>\n
\nwork servers
(Windows Server 2003) and wo=
\nrkstations (primarily PC with a few Macs),
printers, and other peripheral equipment. The Media and Technology Manager=
\n
also identifies and resolves computer pr=
\noblems, monitors and maintains IT
infrast=
\nructure integrity, enforces security policies, ensures accurate
nightly backups, provides input on operational proces=
\nses and procedures,
researches and superv=
\nises the purchase of new technology acquisitions, and
maintains an inventory of computer hardware, software, and A\/V =
\nequipment.

\ner updates and maintains The Kitchen=92s
=
\nwebsite, working directly with the marketing and development team to createemail marketing material and to maintain =
\nthe organization=92s Raiser=92s Edge
data=
\nbase. In addition, the Media and Technology Manager provides support to
staff, interns and artists with day-to-day co=
\nmputer problems; assists the
curators wit=
\nh preparing video materials for exhibitions or performances when
necessary; and works closely with a part-time archiv=
\nist with ongoing
projects, including the =
\nmaintenance of the in-house archive and dubbing
performance documentation for artists and staff.<\/p>\n
\nManager works closely with all staff, but
especially with the curators and the technical director on artistic project=
\ns
and reports directly to the Associate D=
\nirector.<\/p>\n
Recent graduates a=
\nre encouraged to apply. Candidates must have experience
with Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems; knowledge of Wi=
\nndows Server
and Exchange, E-mail protoco=
\nls and configuration (IMAP, POP3, spam
fi=
\nltering), WiFi, and network communications (TCP\/IP, DHCP); experience in
hardware\/software troubleshooting and in pro=
\nviding hands-on training; be
comfortable =
\nassisting with the set-up of A\/V equipment. Working knowledge of
HTML, mySQL, FinalCut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Adobe =
\nCreative Suite, and
Raisers Edge a plus.
