The school, with 750+ students has a 1:1 MacBook Air and iPad program and also has Windows-based machines in select offices. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and flexible, ready to work in a dynamic school environment that includes three campuses in Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p>Skills that the position involves include working with:<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n1. Hardware and software expertise<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Mac desktop support &amp; software troubleshooting<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Windows desktop support &amp; software troubleshooting<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Mac server configuration &amp; troubleshooting, including caching server, open directory, file system<\/div>\n<div>permissions, etc.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>iPad and iOS device configuration and support<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>MDM device management procedures and tools<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Windows server configuration &amp; troubleshooting, including Active Directory<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Hardware: replace logic boards, RAM, and hard drives on various generations of hardware, etc.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Familiarity with Apple software such as Pages, Keynote, &amp; iMovie<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Printer configuration and support<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Configuration and support of audiovisual hardware such as touch screens and projectors<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. Management and administration of the Marymount email system and the G-suite for education<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Create new users and groups, assign permissions, and passwords<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Monitor ongoing security issues<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Liaise with Google tech to resolve issues.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. The Virtual Private Network (VPN) that connects the three campuses (four including a construction trailer at a new building site).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Dell NSA 2600 firewall, monitoring and support at all four locations<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Continuously monitoring and updating filtering services to keep out viruses and to prevent<\/div>\n<div>students from accessing damaging content<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Familiarity with Spectrum fiber E-Lan<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Switches and routers\u2013support Dell 2024 switches<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4. WiFi Network<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Aruba AP205\/225 access points spread through all 3 campuses.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Central Aruba WiFi Controllers&#8211; Aruba Mobility 7214<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Monitor the health of the WiFi network on all campuses; fix problems as they arise.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Familiarity with AD server that administers users authentication for the Aruba WiFi system.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>5. S2 Security<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Includes S2 camera surveillance, WiFi door locks, and proximity card administration system, for faculty, students and staff<\/li>\n<li>Work with vendor to maintain the integrity and security of the system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>6. Telephone network<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Troubleshoot and administer Marymount&#8217;s AVAYA-based telephone extension system<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Ensure the telephone VPN on the 3 campuses is working properly and voice quality is of<\/div>\n<div>acceptable standard<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Understand the core technical issues involved in upgrading the phone system<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>7. Cyber security<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with cyber security best practices and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>8.
