Reporting to the Director of Product Operations, the Scrum Master will contribute to establishing a Center of Excellence in building and delivering best practices of Agile software delivery.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n | Responsibilities<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n | \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strongly serving and supporting the Product Owners and internal and external Development Teams in order to deliver value and satisfy customers<\/p>\n | \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Guiding and coaching the Product Development team and organization on how to use Agile\/Scrum practices and values to delight customers<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assessing the appropriate use of Agile \/ Scrum with the team and organization and coaching the team to adopt higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Contributing to the development of a trusting and productive environment, where problems are identified and solved constructively as a team<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitating discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information for better visibility<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supporting and educating the Product Owners, especially with respect to refining (aka. grooming) and managing the product backlog<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Reporting and communicating on iteration outcome and team progress on a routine recurring basis<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n Qualifications<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n | \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; or equivalent experience<\/p>\n | \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 4-6+ years preferably in an Engineering or Technical Environment<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3+ years of direct experience with multiple Agile teams<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Experience as Scrum Master role for at least 2 years for a software development team in a medium to large organization<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to facilitate, possess situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and demonstrate increasing transparency for a development team<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques (example: Burn down techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: Kanban, Scrumban, Lean UX<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge and\/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent communication and mentoring skills<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n |
