Full-time, Research Associate for Telepresence<\/h3>\n

We\u2019re seeking talented individuals to contribute to an experimental live telepresence project. Tasks include real-time multi-camera point cloud merging, eye tracking, glasses-free 3D displays, and live spatial sound. Experience we seek include computer vision, and particularly OpenGL programming, as well as general interactive media skills such as audio and video tool use, optics and 3D printing, and UI\/UX design.<\/p>\n

The appointments are full time beginning as soon as possible and running through the end of May, and possibly through August. Milestones include periodic demos plus a final presentation and participation in a publication.<\/p>\n

This is an NYU Global project based in Shanghai. We welcome applications from candidates based at NYU New York and NYU Abu Dhabi as well as from candidates based in Shanghai.<\/p>\n
