Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

Developing and implementing innovative online tools for academic and administrative uses and by training faculty and staff to use new digital resources, including software, hardware, data, collaboration tools, web accessibility, support learning, improve efficiency, and continually enhance the student experience. Responsible for proposing, developing, planning, coordinating and facilitating learning opportunities and instructional technology.<\/p>\n

Required Education:<\/strong>
\nBachelor’s degree<\/p>\n

Preferred Education:<\/strong>
\nMaster’s degree<\/p>\n

Required Experience:<\/strong>
\n3-5 years of professional work experience or the equivalent education and years of work experience; Extensive experience with CMS solutions, data management and computer programming.<\/p>\n

Preferred Experience:<\/strong>
\nDemonstrated professional experience in designing and developing teaching and learning materials, developing dynamic websites with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery and Ajax; or with web content management systems, especially WordPress. Creating rapid prototypes for projects including the development of e-learning tools and data-driven projects in a LAMP environment. Implementing and maintaining web accessibility\u00a0standards.\u00a0 Higher academia experience working with faculty and students on developing and\/or supporting research and teaching innovation<\/p>\n

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:<\/strong>
\nExtensive experience with academic online materials, such as syllabi, for administering coursework. Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience working with clients\/customers on complex projects and creative problem-solving abilities and initiatives<\/p>\n
