NBC Universal is currently reviewing portfolios of Future UI Star Designers who will research, architect, and design highly usable interactive experiences for web and software interfaces. We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning to create experiences that are intuitive and drive business goals.<\/p>\n
Candidates must be able to show examples of college or freelance work.<\/p>\n
Specific Responsibilities:
\n* Reuse pre-designed elements to put together wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate the user experience of features to internal stakeholders and project team members<\/p>\n
Basic Qualifications Required:
\n* Enrolled in a degree program (design or related discipline)
\n* Some experience designing customer facing interfaces
\n* Understanding of UI\/UX\/IA principles and best practices
\n* Experience creating prototypes using Adobe – Creative Suite3
\n* Knowledge or familiarity with user research, usability testing
\n* Excellent visual and oral\/written communication skills
\n* Passion for and demonstrated knowledge of user-centered design
\n* Excellent black and white layout and Information Design skills
\n* Attention to detail<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications:
\n* InDesign CS3
\n* Experience with use cases, user stories, and other documentation
\n* Knowledge or familiarity with Html\/Flash\/CMS systems
\n* Sketching by hand <\/p>\n
