\nWe are currently accepting portfolio submissions for a 6 month paid internship, starting
\nmonth and ending in month. In your internship, you will support the Boma team, taking
\ndirection from the CEO and Head of Global Partnerships, outside partners, and other
\nteam members as needed. Tasks vary greatly depending on the end client and particular
\nproject. The job requires one to be flexible and adaptable as projects arise, but it also
\nmeans you won\u2019t get bored. Here are some things you could be working on:
\n\u25cf Writing copy for the Boma website
\n\u25cf Developing copy & editorial strategy for social media properties
\n\u25cf Creating a newsletter system
\n\u25cf Assisting with internal branding projects as needed
\n\u25cf Writing reports, proposals, and other documents
\n\u25cf Contributing to brainstorms and internal meetings for company narrative and
\ncustomer voice
\n\u25cf Keeping organized files of copy assets
\n\u25cf Thinking strategically to solve marketing problems, and how copy fits into that
\nsolution
\n\u25cf Doing research and contributing to brainstorms with various team members as
\nwe work to solve marketing problems<\/p>\n
Over time, Boma editorial interns will be building up proficiency in skills that will be useful
\neither as a full-time editorial coordinator at Boma, or in a position at another agency or
\nin-house at a brand.
\n\u25cf The ability to respond to a client\u2019s expectations
\n\u25cf Being able to adjust the editorial tone of your work to the project
\n\u25cf Taking existing assets and building on them, resulting in a stronger piece of
\ncommunication
\n\u25cf Being able to take minimal direction from team members and fill in the gaps by
\nsuggesting creative solutions
\n\u25cf Coming to the table with fresh ideas and approaches to problems<\/p>\n
\u25cf Working with all members of the team as needs arise, and flowing from project to
\nproject with ease

\nBoma is a face pace learning environment \u2013 a startup in every sense of the word. While
\nit\u2019s important you take direction from other members of the team, you will be the one
\ndriving the editorial process.
\nDaily\/Weekly
\nWe touch base as a team to catch up on what needs to be done that week, where
\npeople need help, and to share any recent learnings on a daily\/weekly basis.
\nMonthly
\nYou will meet with the CEO monthly one-on-one to touch base on how you\u2019re doing in
\nyour role, where you may need more help, or other ways to maximize success. This is
\nnot a test – we want to you to learn and grow, and to enjoy yourself in the process.<\/p>\n
