Pop!Tech (www.poptech.org) has a fantastic opportunity for a gifted
\nwriter to become our Blogger-in-Chief — and we’d like your help to
\nfind the right candidate!<\/p>\n
The person we’re looking for has a great written voice, strong
\ninterpersonal communication and interview skills, a strong work
\nethic, an abiding, multifaceted curiosity about new ideas in
\ninnovation, technology, social entrepreneurship, global trends, the
\nenvironment, media, and the arts and humanities.<\/p>\n
The Blogger-in-Chief (who can be based anywhere!) will shape the
\neditorial voice of the Pop!Tech blog (www.poptech.org\/blog), help us
\nevolve our platform, bring in guest-bloggers, and track the comings
\nand goings of the Pop!Tech community. He or she will liaise to the
\nblogger community, work with international bloggers who cover the
\nconference, and be responsible for 2-3 blog posts per week, live
\nblogging from the Pop!Tech Conference, plus occasional additional
\nwriting as required.<\/p>\n
This is a terrific part-time gig — Blogger-in-Chief will get a
\nmonthly stipend of up to $1000 (commensurate with experience), an all-
\naccess pass to the Pop!Tech conference (valued at $3500), and a
\nhighly visible role in the Pop!Tech community — their posts will get
\nread by some of the most interesting people on earth. Experience with
\nblog-related platform technology, digital media, etc. is definitely a
\nplus.<\/p>\n
We expect this to be a commitment of 15 hours or so a week.
